Dr. Emma W. is a personable practitioner who provides empathetic care to patients in vulnerable situations.
The client needed a new visual identity, website, social media assets, and packaging design for the launch of her first all-natural body care product. The website needed to showcase her services as a naturopath and include a shop page.
In the naturopathic space, many practitioners use script fonts and symbols like lotus flowers or Japanese-inspired brush-stroke circles for their logos. I aimed to create a logo that reflected Emma’s unique aesthetic by incorporating a marigold, a botanical used in many of her remedies. This personal touch would help her logo stand out among competitors while resonating with her audience through a modern and elegant floral symbol, paired with an Art Nouveau-inspired font, which is trendy in the green beauty industry.
To differentiate her brand from the traditional soft, neutral, and pastel color palettes used by wellness practitioners, I created a bold and unique color palette rich in earthy tones, complemented by one of the client’s favorite colours—brick red.
