Luke McCutcheon is a cinematographer specializing in narrative film, music videos, and commercials.
He needed a website to showcase his body of work and wanted it to stand apart from his peers whom traditionally have white backgrounds. At the same time we still wanted the site to remain clean, professional and unique.

Mood Board: The majority of this cinematographer’s work has green undertones. He is known for doing work that has a moody tone and feeling. I drew inspiration from that and made sure the colour palette would work well for all projects and future ones.
We wanted the body of work to speak for itself, and not have any other elements overshadow the powerful images and videos. A minimal font was chosen, along with a solid black background. This way the elements worked seamlessly together and didn’t compete with the style of individual projects. A universal filter was built in so the user could easily filter through each category of project, rather than going to a different url.
